Ecology is an important topic in biology that we won't have a chance to cover during class this semester.  Ecology is what is happening to the world around us every day.  We are a part of it.  To gain a very basic understanding, I would like you to complete the following:

1 -  Watch the following Crash Course Video to get the general idea about ecosystems.

2 - Now you are going to look at a unique ecosystem, Mono Lake, in California.  Complete the WebQuest activity found here.


3 -  Share with me, or bring in a paper copy, of the field guide you created.

Your Field Guide will count as a homework grade.
